The Oculus Quest 2
The Oculus Quest 2 is a standalone virtual reality (VR) headset developed by Facebook’s subsidiary, Oculus.
It was released in October 2020 as the successor to the original Oculus Quest.
The Quest 2 is designed to be an all-in-one VR device that does not require a PC or external sensors to operate.
It features a high-resolution display, built-in speakers and microphones, and hand controllers with six degrees of freedom (6DoF) tracking.
The Quest 2 also has access to a wide range of VR games and apps through the Oculus Store.
How to Pair Oculus Quest 2 To Phone
Follow the steps below accordingly:
- Download and install the Oculus app on your phone. You can find it in the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the Oculus app on your phone and sign in with your Oculus account.

Open the app and select the Oculus Device – Quest 2. There are also other options like Quest, Rift, Rift 6, and Go.

Click “Continue” and wait for the app to look for the headset for a few seconds,

Turn on your headset and put the gear on.

Put on the Oculus and input the 5-digit code on your Oculus in the space given in your phone or tab.

The next screen is the Pairing screen. Wait for it to load for a few seconds and put it on to finish the entire setup.

Check the Settings to confirm that your device has been paired.

NOTE: When prompted, hold down the Oculus button and the volume down button on your headset until the LED light on the headset starts flashing.
Once the app has connected to your headset, you should see a message on your phone confirming that the devices are paired.
Troubleshooting your Oculus Quest 2
If your Oculus device isn’t connecting with your phone or tab, there are some things you need to consider before retrying the connection or rating it a one-star on Amazon.
Firstly, make sure both your Oculus Quest 2 and your phone are connected to the same Wifi connection.
Secondly, Update the Oculus third-party app on your phone. Go to the app store you downloaded from and click on Update to continue.
Finally, contact the manufacturer if you have any problems with the device.
