This position will collaborate with our Futures backend development team, contributing to our exchange platform that has enabled Binance to become one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, while addressing challenging and distinctive issues associated with operating a platform serving tens of millions of users with 24/7 availability.

We are in search of skilled Software Engineers (with over 7 years of experience) to join our team, focusing on the backend of our cutting-edge trading platform at one of our Asian locations.

Responsibilities:

• Architect scalable backend systems, services, and APIs.
• Develop our long-term strategy for maintaining and scaling our backend systems.
• Design highly reliable services capable of withstanding significant traffic fluctuations.
• Monitor backend performance, pinpoint performance bottlenecks, and consistently implement reliable solutions.
• Write backend code that is swift, dependable, and exceptionally secure.
• Uphold and develop our rapidly growing test suite.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to resolve complex problems.
• Offer mentorship and champion robust development practices within the team.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Rust.
• Ability to craft robust, highly efficient, and reliable code.
• Experience in developing multi-threaded applications.
• Previous deployment of software in a production environment.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Bonus: Experience in scaling production databases, such as Postgres, MySQL, and/or MongoDB.
• Bonus: Experience building systems with financial or security constraints.
