This wallet facilitates access to apps and financial services built on the Solana blockchain. As a product designer at Phantom, you’ll play a pivotal role in leveraging human-centered design to break down barriers and make crypto more accessible and inclusive for millions worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Holistic Product Team Leadership: Guide the design process for a product team from initial concepts to product launch, collaborating with product managers, engineers, marketing, support, and executive leadership.
• Design System Integration: Define new product flows and seamlessly integrate them into our design system, ensuring a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
• User-Centric Design: Transform complex, conceptual ideas into practical, user-friendly solutions for our extensive user base across desktop and mobile platforms.
• Strategic Contribution: Contribute to strategic decisions regarding the future trajectory of Phantom, crypto wallets, and web3, shaping the overall direction of the products.
• Quality Elevation: Proactively raise the bar for quality, making crypto UX more approachable for everyday users through thoughtful design enhancements.
• End-to-End Design: Craft end-to-end flows and experiences that embody simplicity and elegance in design.

Qualifications:

• Extensive Experience: Possess 6+ years of hands-on experience in building and delivering applications and software to users.
• Effective Communication: Demonstrate experience in presenting work to diverse product teams and leaders, effectively articulating goals and concepts.
• Visual Design Skills: Exhibit proficiency in visual design, encompassing desktop and mobile UI, color theory, layout, and iconography.
• Interaction Design Skills: Showcase skills in interaction design, defining user experience behaviors based on a deep understanding of user needs. Experience in using prototyping to illustrate flow and interactions is essential.
• Strategic Leadership: Showcase experience in leading product direction and strategic thinking. Contribute to defining product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions aligned with user impact and company objectives.
• Design System Contribution: Prior experience in defining and contributing to design systems and design components that elevate the entire design organization.

The target base salary for this role varies from $180,000 to $250,000, complemented by equity and benefits. This range considers factors such as your skillset, relevant experience, interview performance, and prevailing market conditions at the time of the offer.
