The Block Research seeks a driven individual to join our 25-member research team. As a Research Intern, you will generate insightful analyses about the digital assets industry that institutions and corporate executives worldwide rely on. Collaborating directly with our research teams, you’ll contribute to custom research projects for our esteemed clients.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct research on various digital asset-related topics and distill findings into presentations, documentation, or client conversations.
- Manage deliverables and meet research deadlines in alignment with client and team expectations.
- Lead data analysis and financial modeling for custom research and investment diligence projects.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and written reports for strategic advisory or sector update projects.
- Identify potential project topics and create marketing materials to support outbound sales efforts.
- Undertake additional tasks related to the diverse demands of an early-stage company, including public appearances, knowledge sharing, and community engagement.
Ideal candidates will likely:
- Be at least a junior in college majoring in computer science, finance, economics, or another field with a strong quantitative/technical focus.
- Have prior internship experience in consulting, investment banking, tech, or crypto.
- Possess a keen interest in developing expertise across multiple disciplines within the digital assets industry and a willingness to explore new topics.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the current digital asset ecosystem, blockchains, and underlying technological frameworks.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Showcase proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with a talent for simplifying complex concepts into logical frameworks.
This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $15 to $20 per hour, with final offers determined by various factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and expertise.
