About the Role
Mission
As a Startup Technical Lead Developer, you will spearhead the development and optimization of our decentralized applications, prioritize security, lead a team of developers, and align technical strategies with Lendr Network’s objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of engineering principles, particularly within the blockchain technology domain, and a proven track record of delivering successful technological products at scale.
Responsibilities
Software Development: Collaborate with our existing development team to create state-of-the-art DeFi applications that align with our objectives, involving hands-on development, setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and ensuring timely milestone delivery. Development Methodology: Implement an effective software development methodology for our team to adopt. Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert for technical matters within the company, offering insights, guidance, and solutions to complex challenges. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement. Security Oversight: Ensure robust application security, manage audit processes, and uphold high standards of code quality. Team Leadership: Establish and lead a development team, fostering a culture of productivity and satisfaction, while demonstrating a commitment to excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for technical innovation and efficiency enhancements. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure technical compliance with regulatory standards applicable to our technology and operations.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience, preferably in fintech, DeFi, crypto/blockchain, or financial services industries, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, high-quality system deliveries. “Thank you for this opportunity.”
- 3+ years of experience leading software development teams. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Independence: Self-starter with the ability to address problems tactically and strategically, proactively resolving conflicting stakeholder requirements through creative compromise.
- Blockchain Expertise: Proficiency in blockchain technology, smart contracts (Solidity), and DeFi application development, with expertise in multiple programming languages including Solidity and JS, and a thorough understanding of Ethereum and the EVM.
- Leadership Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage and develop technical teams, with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Problem Solving: Strong strategic and innovative problem-solving abilities. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
- Startup Experience: Previous experience in a high-growth startup, particularly in a fully remote/async environment, is advantageous.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
