After intensive focus on building our core tech stack, Polymer is now on testnet and moving towards mainnet. As we prepare for major launches, we are thrilled to welcome our first dedicated community hire to nurture our early supporters who share our passion for our vision and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with the community, acting as a liaison between the core team and community members. Your primary goals are fostering positivity, creating quality memes, and promoting enjoyable interactions.
- Develop and oversee the strategy for community growth, including structuring programs for contributions and establishing processes to recognize positive engagement.
- Organize and coordinate online community events like community calls, Twitter spaces, AMAs, and contests.
- Monitor community growth and manage KPIs to guide growth strategies. Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to maintain a consistent brand and voice for Polymer.
This role is pivotal in driving the growth and adoption of the Polymer protocol, contributing significantly to establishing fundamental infrastructure for web3.
Qualifications:
- Deep immersion in web3 culture, with a strong understanding of prevailing personalities, memes, narratives, and major projects.
- Experience in building and managing communities for crypto/web3 projects with clear KPIs.
- Proficiency in Discord and Twitter management.
- Skilled in managing stakeholders and setting clear guidelines and expectations.
- Embody Polymer values: Perseverance, ownership, legacy, always questioning why.
- Curious and enthusiastic about learning the ins and outs of Polymer’s architecture.
- Strong written English communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for Polymer’s mission of connecting the world using IBC.
