Role Overview: Blockchain Integrations Engineering Manager

As a Blockchain Integrations Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our relationships with various blockchains while keeping business development in mind. Your team, focused on integration, plays a crucial role in Chainlink’s growth. This position offers substantial growth potential as we rapidly expand our blockchain coverage.

Your Impact

• Lead and oversee a team of software engineers, setting clear goals, managing project timelines, and fostering team cohesion and morale.
• Proactively monitor integration performance and troubleshoot issues, identifying and recommending changes when necessary to reach resolution.
• Execute the roadmap for launching Chainlink onto additional blockchains.
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in other blockchain ecosystems.
• Make technical contributions to projects, including code reviews and occasional coding.
• Participate in the hiring and onboarding process, ensuring we bring onboard high-quality engineers who align with our culture and requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• A commercial mindset, driven by results, and a passion for solving complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills, enabling collaboration with internal and external partners on diverse technical and business topics.
• Demonstrated servant leadership and an innate ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Ability to work effectively on a globally-distributed team with a strong sense of ownership.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, and/or TypeScript.

Preferred Requirements

• Technical and/or product management experience in a blockchain project.
• Interest or experience in the blockchain or crypto space.
