Monad Labs is making fundamental optimizations to the EVM in order to help decentralization scale. We work on the Monad blockchain, an ultra-performant EVM-equivalent blockchain supporting 10,000 tps while remaining highly decentralized. We have accomplished this by implementing the first production-ready parallel EVM executor, and through significant innovations in consensus, pipelining, and state storage.

Our team is founded by Jump Trading alums and is backed by notable leaders in the crypto space, including Dragonfly, Cobie, and Hasu.

Our mission is to enable a new universe of decentralized apps—use cases and user flows that are currently impossible—by drastically reducing EVM computation costs. Our work will unleash the power of decentralization to make the world more efficient and fair.

The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Business Development hire to lead the onboarding of developers and projects onto Monad. The initial focus will be on building partnerships that onboard projects onto Monad’s testnet, and supporting Monad ecosystem projects using grants and other internal resources. You will wear many hats as you build and execute a process for onboarding and supporting partner projects.

This is a full-time position that is fully remote in the US or Canada, with the option of being located in NYC (where a majority of our team currently is).

Requirements.

• You’re crypto-native; you have excellent knowledge of major DeFi projects and categories
• You understand the needs and drivers of a L1, L2 or DeFi infrastructure project
• You have at least 2 years of experience doing BD/Partnerships work in crypto, interfacing with app/infrastructure teams
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You have excellent sales and negotiation skills

What you’ll be doing:

• You’ll source, qualify, pitch, and close projects on the prospect of launching on Monad’s testnet and mainnet in 2023
• You’ll develop a process for onboarding projects as launch partners
• You’ll maintain relationships with partners, finding ways to help them succeed in their goals
• You’ll create tools and KPIs to measure success within the team
• You’ll travel to conferences to speak with partners and speak about Monad.

Salary and benefits:

Minimum full-time salary of $100,000 – $200,000.  (**This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.)
